Notice of Special General Meeting of Studley Community Infants School Parents and Friends Association
The meeting will be held on Tuesday 17th January at 7.30pm in The Swan public house, High Street, Studley. The purpose will be to make a change to our current constitution and name. We propose changing our name to, Studley Community Infants School Parents and Teachers Association. This will also mean changing who is deemed a member of our association to include staff at the school. The current constitution and a copy of the proposed changes will be available for inspection from the school office when school re opens following the Christmas Holidays.

Yellow Moon
This week your child should have brought home a Yellow Moon catalogue. It is packed full of great craft and toy ideas and is perfect for stocking up for Christmas. The school receives between 5% and 20% back on all orders placed so you will also be helping to raise valuable funds to allow the PFA to continue supporting our fabulous school.
You simply place the order directly with yellow moon via their website, by phone or by post, and quote the schools reference number which is on the front of your catalogue.

About Us
Hello and welcome to our web page! We are a new and active committee, who with the help and support of parents raise much needed funds for our school.
The funds we raise go towards providing may different things for the children to enjoy. Some examples of these are the Pirate Ship in the playground, the Trim Trail, new waterproof clothing for the children to use while outside, funds to further develop the school's Forest School area and money to buy new CD audio books.
Our meetings usually take place once a month, in the evening and are held at the school. They are very relaxed and informal and are a good opportunity to air new ideas and meet other parents. Below is a list of our meeting dates for 2010/2011, so why not come along and see how you can offer your support. Everyone will be made very welcome, come and see what we are all about! However if you cannot attend the meetings but can spare some time to help in any way, please leave your contact details with Karen in the school office and one of us will be in touch.
Events
We are involved in many events throughout the school year, such as Coffee mornings, sponsored events, school fairs (Christmas and Spring), Bonfire & Fireworks display (done jointly with the Junior School), non-uniform days and even interrupting Santa's busy schedule at Christmas to pay our school a visit! These are our main events but we are always on the look out for new and interesting ideas, so any suggestions are always welcome.
