The induction process into Reception is tailored to meet individual children's needs. There are two Reception classes which share the Reception unit. 

Children should come to school every day with the following:

- Book bag 
- Water bottle
- Waterproof coat 
- Lunchbox (if required) 

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child's name.

PE Days - PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL WEARING THEIR PE KIT.

Appropriate clothing for PE (NO logos please)

  • Plain joggers/ leggings
  • Plain shorts (depending on weather)
  • Plain t-shirt
  • Plain jumper/ school jumper
  • Cap for warmer weather
  • Trainers/pumps (No laces please)

Outdoor Learning Sessions - to be confirmed. Please send your child to school dressed ready for the session.

Appropriate clothes for Outdoor Learning:

  • Wellies
  • Warm waterproof coat
  • Hat, scarf and mittens please – easier than gloves, depending on the weather
  • Warm jumper
  • Long-sleeved top
  • Full length tracksuit bottoms, leggings or trousers

Please make sure these clothes are not precious - the children are likely to get muddy!
