• Singing at Four Acres

  The children thoroughly enjoyed attending Four Acres Open Event and singing for the residents. They used their best singing voices and even signed using Makaton for some songs. 

  We are looking forward to future joint events.

• World Book Day

  We have enjoyed a range of book related activities and have discussed our favourite books and characters.

  All of the children have picked a new book to take home from our school book swap!

• Yr2 Fairtrade Fortnight

  Year Two have worked this week to get ready for their amazing Fairtrade Cocoa and Coffee Event this afternoon. 
  They have followed a recipe to make Fairtrade Cocoa Biscuity Truffles and used their creative skills to design posters and invitations for the event. 

  At home, the children have been busy baking and buying Fairtrade cocoa treats to bring to the event. 

  The event was a fabulous success and the children are excited having raised money for charity.

• Yr1 Pets Homes

  The Year One challenges over half term have blown our socks off!

  They were challenged to design and make a pet home. 

  They all look very creative and a lot of hard work have gone into them. 

   

• Yr2 Space Projects

  WOW! The Year Two Space projects are incredible. Year Two were challenged to make a Space model at home over half term.

  We have amazing Solar Systems, planets, rockets and even an alien robot!

  The children have enjoyed the DRONEdays workshops in school.

  Reception used their creativity skills to build their own robots.

  Key Stage One developed their coding skills and programmed their own drones. 

   

• Singing at Four Acres

  The children enjoyed their visit to Four Acres today! They sang some festive songs to the residents and enjoyed spreading Christmas joy!

  All of the residents had a lovely morning and have invited us back in the New Year!

• Reception Nativity

  Reception put on a fantastic Nativity performance today and will perform again tomorrow! All of the children enjoyed singing their favourite Christmas songs and acting on the stage!

• Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Dinner Day

  The children are invited to come to school wearing a Christmas jumper for a small donation towards Save The Children.  They will also enjoy a festive Christmas Dinner on this day. If your child usually has a lunch provided from home and they would like a Christmas Dinner on this day, please book one in at the office.
