Implementation

At Studley Infants' School we implement our computing curriculum using the Teach Computing resources. These comprehensive resources support pupils in exciting and engaging computing lessons. All content is reviewed and reworked if required to align with our pupils.

Having mixed aged classes in Key Stage 1 means we follow a two-year rolling program to ensure coverage of the whole curriculum at an appropriate level as detailed in the long term curriculum plan.

Delivery of sessions involves a mixture of laptops, iPads, programming equipment and unplugged/offline activities to embed the theory behind skills such as programming algorithms and investigative work.
