  Mothers Day Breakfast

  Friday 9th March

   

  We are inviting you to have breakfast with your child on Friday 9th March to celebrate Mothers Day.  

  Nursery and Reception: Classrooms

  9:00am - 9:45am please sign the sheet on the door to confirm your attendance. 

   

  Years 1 and 2: The hall

  8:15am - 9:00am

  9:00am - 9:45am 

  Please confirm your attendance with the office. 

   

  Due to the Junior School not being open on this day, there will be a charge of £1 per additional child. Please book at the office. 

   

  If you have children in multiple year groups you could book a place in the either hall slot and have breakfast with both children together.

• World Book Day

  The children will be taking part in various book activities in their classes to celebrate World Book Day. 

  There will also be a 'Book Swap' event happening across the school. Please bring a book into school that you would like to swap by Wednesday 28th February. 

• St David's Day

  To celebrate St David's Day the children are invited to come to school wearing yellow. Please bring an arts and craft donation on this day.

• Gamba Drumming - KS1

  Years 1 and 2 will be taking part in the Carnival Drumming Workshop.

  There will be a performance to parents at 2:30pm until 3:15pm.

• Chinese New Year

  Nursery and Reception will be celebrating Chinese New Year. They will be making paper dragons, trying a variety of Chinese food and dancing in a parade. 

  The children are invited to come to school wearing something red.

  Thank you to everyone who donated books to the Kipepeo Project linked with the Stratford Butterfly Farm. The Staff at the Butterfly Farm were able to send a package of 70 books and some toys to the children of Kenya and their families. As you can see from the smiles in the photos, they were gratefully appreciated!

  We look forward to welcoming the Butterfly Farm and some of their creatures to school later this term to talk to the children.
