Who Are We?
Lisette Martin
I am a qualified primary teacher and have taught in the UK and in Ghana. I first came to Studley Infants’ School in 2021 where I worked as a TA and as a teacher in Reception and Year 1. When I left I wanted to continue to support the school so was delighted to be made a co-opted governor in April 2022.
I have worked at an educational publishing company in sales, marketing and international professional development for over 20 years. I have a particular interest in phonics and reading and provide training to teachers who use our resources and curriculum.
I live in Stratford, am married with three teenage children and love spending time outdoors walking our two dogs.
Sandra Logan
My name is Sandra Logan and I have recently joined Studley Infant School as a co-opted governor. I have lived in Studley for twenty-six years and have really enjoyed the community feel here. My two children grew up here.
I have spent forty years teaching in First Schools in Redditch, much of this in Early Years. I particularly enjoyed working with parents in Family Learning groups, allowing them both to develop their own skills and to support their children in an ever changing education system.
Since retiring I have enjoyed my hobbies of gardening, Latin and ballroom dancing and walking my son's dog. However, there comes a time for new challenges. I welcomed the opportunity to become a governor and draw on some of the experiences gained over the years to support the children, staff and school in whatever way I can, appreciating the hard work done to provide the best opportunities for your children.
Marian Webb
I recently joined Studley Infants School as a co-opted governor. I am linked to the School through my involvement in the Arden Forest MAT board as a Director (safeguarding).
My professional background has been social work in both Local Authority sector and the voluntary sector for over 40 years. When I retired from Barnardo’s in 2019 I was responsible for developing emotional health and wellbeing services for children and young people in partnership with the statutory sector within the Midlands Region. This area of work is something that I am very interested in and committed to. On the Governing Body my responsibility is to lead on Wellbeing and Thrive, Behaviour and Attendance, and Vision and Values areas of work.
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to be involved with Studley Infants School. I have lived in Studley since 1984 and have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren living in the village. Since my husband and I retired we have acquired a very spoilt dog and enjoy walks with him.
